Ripple Workshop is a Community Interest Company which was started in October 2022 by the organiser. Ripple Workshop run inclusive, participatory, creative and practical projects with people in our community.

Ripple Kitchen

A relaxed space for parents to meet and play with a variety of sensory activities alongside their children. Parents incorporate their ideas into the sessions making it a playful experience for everyone involved. We hope to be able to support the evolving ideas parents have and allow them to develop.

Every 3rd Friday of the month* from 12-1pm

Community lunch held at Beaminster Public Hall

Hosted by the young parents group that meets weekly at Prout Bridge Community Centre. Collaborating with Beaminster Community Fridge to provide a simple lunch to share with others and to promote the sound idea of limiting food waste. Donations are appreciated.

*We can help with transport to and from the Public Hall.

Pilot project for young adults (18-25yrs) at Bridport Community Shed

After Easter '24: 2 hour weekly workshops for 12 weeks on a Tuesday afternoon 12.45-2.45pm

Donation of £1 would be welcomed

Working with the Tracking and Re-engagement Support Team and Care Leavers Advisor for Dorset Council’s Best Start in Life Team in order to receive referrals.

The sessions will provide an opportunity for participants to sample and explore woodworking, textiles and arts and crafts. There'll be an emphasis on providing a safe supportive atmosphere where participants are encouraged to explore materials rather than feel the pressure to produce things. Whilst it won't be accredited we will be issuing everyone who participates with a certificate of achievement.

The aim of the pilot is to assess what the need is among this age group and act on the findings to develop projects in the future.
