Listings are being checked. Contact a group before you travel.

Get involved

No one organisation owns My Noticeboard. It is free, independent and run by the community, and it stays right only because people like you help.

Spot something wrong or missing

  • On any listing, choose Suggest a change to this listing or Report that this has stopped. A curator checks it.
  • Know a web page, newsletter or calendar where local groups announce what they do? Tell us where to look and our readers will check it regularly.
  • Seen a group, poster or noticeboard that isn’t here? Email [email protected] with what it is and where.

Run a group?

Find your organisation’s page and choose Manage this listing, or sign in. You can then keep your details and dates up to date yourself, mark a session cancelled or full, and choose who sees your contact details. Help for groups.

Volunteer

We’d welcome help to:

  • check listings in your town or village: is it still on, at the same time and place?
  • rewrite descriptions in plain English
  • test the site with a screen reader, magnifier, voice control or other assistive technology

Email [email protected] to say what you’d like to do. Volunteers who check listings become curators, with a simple guide and a queue that shows what needs checking most.

Work in health, care or a council?

  • Link workers, GP practices and health teams can get professional access, share resource sheets and tell us what you’ve checked. Help for link workers.
  • Councils, the NHS and others can reuse everything as open data, or ask us about a maintained data feed for your area.

Help it grow

If you’d like something like this where you live, or could fund or partner with us, email [email protected]. We plan to become a co-operative owned by the people who use and support it.
